Help with university personal statement? |
I am applying for a software development course, i am 20, billingual in two languages, i need help on tarting my personal statement, i want ideas as to what one would expect to gain from a university education? what would i be able to offer the particular establishment? why me Everyone gets so wound up about personal statements. Oh man!! These are annoying as hell to write aren't they? Especially at multiple institutions. As far as what you can offer the university you can say that you plan to jumpstart your career while you are still a student (state whether or not you plan to pursue graduate school there and if you don't say that you are considering it there). Say that you plan to do undergraduate projects in an attempt to gain publication early and that you can offer the university prestige as their student in doing so. You can also describe your functionality between students of your other language and your instructors; that you can act as a link between professors and native speakers that may have difficulty understanding. If you are anything but white, you can mention your addition to the diversity of the institution and it's organizations/clubs/etc. Hey, have you tried visiting Ucas?
