what are the software that is use for Virtual reality? and is there any good site that have information on virtual reality.

There are many types of software used for virtual reality production. It depends on what type of virtual reality you want to create (web based, immersive, augmented reality, etc.) and what function you want the software to have (audio, graphics, motion tracking, etc.).

If you are looking to create web-based virtual reality, check out the VRML programming language. A good tutorial for this can be found at: http://rvirtual.free.fr/programmation/VR...

If you don't want to program, you can try a tool like WireFusion (http://www.demicron.com/) which allows you to create 3d or 'virtual' presentations without any programming knolwedge.

Another popular application development environment is called Virtools - http://www.virtools.com/index.asp

With any of these tools, you will need to create and provide your own 3d models. To do this, try Blender (http://www.blender.org/). This program is free and has many options, though it can be difficult to get the hang of. Make sure to try their tutorials!
