Bahrain : Please, need information on Living and working in barhrain.....?

a person having 4 years of experience in software development, what can be the salary range for him and what are the average montly expenses .. Is it expensive to live in there and what about the local transportation system?

Software developers get a salary in the range of BD 500 to BD 1500 per month. Depending on the organization's need for the position and also the organization itself. Banks tend to pay double or sometimes triple what government sectors pay.

Life is getting expensive in Bahrain, but it is still okay. Real estate prices have gone way up, rent can be a bit expensive. For example for a decent 2-bedroom apartment, you are looking at not less than BD 300.

As for transportation, the public transportation is not that reliable, you need your own car, either buying a new one by installments or a second hand car.

Food and clothing can be very cheap in Bahrain. No worries there.
