Scared about college? |
I m scared about college this time.I dropped out last year because was wrong course for me when actually started doing it.And now i am terrified i will make the same mistake again and to add to it my girlfriend who i love to bits wants me to go to same college as her but it involves moving to far side of the country away from my family i can do software development which is kinda well what i think i might like but here where live can do computer science and in 1st year is common and do all the parts of computer science and then specialise afterwards in software development, computer games programming etc. I just need some advice on this situation and what to do go be with my girlfriend and maybe hate the course or stay here and get see what part i really do like and see her maybe twice month or even less.SheShe has helped me with alot of my demons mainly depression and don't want to lose her but want to be happy with career just as much I agree with the first poster. Talk to all those people but do what you REALLY want to do. DON'T let your girlfriend guilt you into moving and DON'T let your parents guilt you into staying close to home! talk to your mom, talk to your dad, talk to a preacher, talk to a guidance counselor just talk to someone who fully understands your situation. don't rely on a bunch of strangers. please. |
