I am always looking for someone to do add-ons or integrations with MYOB. You can download it for free on the internet, and have a look at it www.myob.com.au.

The fact is the software developers that I know are totally consumed & very busy. Typically they are self employed - lots of people in Australia are self employed.

They jump from project to project, building their network & contacts.

What you lack are contacts, not experience in Australia.
