Visual Studio 2005. Because I use MS.NET Technology :)

I use visual studio 6, I can also code HTML and XHTML into notepad and I can edit most webpages built upon that small amount of knowledge. Flash fireworks and dream-weaver are good programs as well I hear.

web development consists two categories..
1. static web pages
2. dynamic web pages.

1. in static web pages..- the notepad is required for making the HTML, XHTML, ASP codings..
or we can use

etc.
2. in dynamic web pages..- we can use
. microsoft visual studio
. micrososft interdev

etc..

Front page - Easy to use for simple web sites
.Net - for complecated database handling. Very powerfull
Macromedea Dreamviewer - Can design nicely and very user friendly
