Gap in software carrer?

I HAVE COMPLETED MY B TECH IN 2004 , AFTER THAT I GOT TRAINING IN RTOS FROM MAY 05 TO FEB 06.
AFTER LOOKING FOR A DEVELOPMENT JOB FOR A LONG TIME I JOINED A SEO (SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION ) COMPANY BUT THE WORK WAS NOT ACCORDING TO MY WISH SO I LEFT THE COMPANY JUST AFTER 3 MONTHS. NOW I AM LOOKING FOR A DEVELOPMENT OR TESTING CAREER IN SOFTWARE BUT NOT GETTING ANY CALL.
WHAT I SHOULD DO NOW TO SETTLE MY CARRER ?????
PLZ HELP ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

do pass oracle 10g dba or 9i dba global certification. after passing it u will get job positively as assistant dba
