Yes, it does do everything and more with not one single cable bill ever coming to your mailbox.

It sounds like you're just paying for access to a database of downloadable video clips of television shows. There may not be any spyware or hidden fees, but I doubt you'll be able to watch the latest shows as soon as someone with cable. Also, if you don't have very high speed internet, it will probably take forever just to download an episode, or it will be low quality.

It's a scam. Cable TV providers have to pay major licensing fees for the channels they carry; there's no way a company could legally provide you with the same content for free, no matter what technology they have.
