About c programming language?

can you please give me the hardware/software components of c. and the software development process.. thank you for your time..

There are no set hardware components of the C programming language. A programming language allows you to interact with the hardware, like doing calculations or writing to the screen. I guess the direct answer is every part of the computer makes up the hardware components, as they all allow the language to interact with the computer.

Software components are also not so set, but there a few bits of software that go into a language. One major software component is the compiler, and this takes the code you write and turns into something the computer can understand. There are many compliers for different platforms. There are many parts to compiling that I wont go into. There are also many things such as library's which give you access to many different functions. Lastly in software, theres the environment in which you actually code, this can be from notepad to visual studio, and anything in between.

Finally the development process depends on the project your working on. Its probably best to consult a programming design book, as there is alot to take into consideration when deciding the methodology you will use. But the methodology is very separate from the language, although some languages are better suited to some methodologies.
