Starting a business and confused? |
Hi, I want to start a business when I am 16. It will probably be a as a sole trader. What is the best way to estimate start up costs? I will be starting a software development company, running it part time, to help fund things like uni. What is a good way to raise start up capital, and also, how would I approach a bank about setting up a bank account for the business? I need some general guidance. Basically, it would be a business to get extra funds (and also go on a CV). It would just to be to sell the software that I make. Also, I would put uni first, actually, if I made a million, maybe I might drop out... You will not be able to get credit (either bank loan or credit card) until you are aged 18. Even then, be careful! If you're thinking of going to uni you may need to get a student loan. go to business link Start up costs are unique to each business. If you are selling a service, they are relatively low, if you are selling produce then quite high, as you need to buy the stuff yourself first. I think personal credit is the best option to a young person like you. Goodluck I can show you how I make it online at home I just answered your other question.... didn't realise you were 16 - fair play to you on being so enterprising!! |
