Why are you ruining this section?

Not to offend anyone, but if I'm not mistaken this area of yahoo answers is titled "Programming and Design," and so far all I'm seeing here are questions completely unrelated to that. I believe this area would be very useful for people like myself that want to ask technical questions about programming, software development strategies, tools, code, cool algorithms, etc.

So once again I pose the questions - why are most of you people asking questions about Myspace, photoshop, word, excel, and a myriad of such questions here?

From the list you described, I would have to say it is because not everyone is as advanced as you. At least they are referring to computers and not asking about dating and relationships or celebrities. You might want to just skip the questions that don't apply to you.

There a lot of new people who are not paying attention to the catagories. So perhaps if we just have a little patience they will figure it out.

Because people can choose to post wherever they want to post a question. And sometimes they just don't care where or don't want to take the time to figure it out. Yes, it is annoying. Just ignore them and move on to the stuff you want to read.'

I found your question on the first page of Yahoo Q&A. When the question is first posted it goes on that page first then is transfered to its right catagory. Your opening statment was "Why are you ruining this section" and I know this is not a particular section. Your question will be in its right section before long. Hope this helps.
