Are "software license agreements" a contravention of consumer rights because they are imposible to understand?

Do you ever read the Software License agreement before installing a piece of software? Do you know anyone who does? Have you taken legal advice or consulted a lawyer before installing software? Because sometimes it seems like you need to!!! The Licenses you're supposed to agree to that are scattered all over the internet and with every piece of software you buy, are pages and pages long as well as being largely indecipherable. Are we supposed to be able to read them?

You could always argue that they weren't made very easy to find or understand.

Off the subject
A few years back all people in Mississippi had their DUIs dropped from record because someone proved in the courts that people in Mississippi wasn't aware they had rights to a lawyer. LOL. They dropped everyone's history. For real. No Kidding.

If it is not clearly made available and the print is too fine then it's possible not to be held by a legal contract. I mean half of the license agreements are worded for lawyers to understand.
