.I am looking for the DV PC recorder software to download from canon website, Can anyone help me to find it? |
I am using XL2 camcorder right now. Canon company have given a web address to DVPC recorder software that can help to capture video directly to the Computer hard drive. On the leaflet addresses are given here for USA, Canada, Europe, Australia and Singapore but I am unable to locate here. where the software is? Do anyone have any idea? Where should I consult to find it? the XL2 has firewire interface. You should be able to capture without any additional software. You did not mention your computer OS or type. If you have a PC and XP with SP2 then Windows Movie maker 2 will perform this task. You just have to make sure and plug in the camera to a firewire slot in you PC and set it as the default device. If you have a Mac then Final Cut Pro will do the job for you. You should not need any additional software or drivers for this camcorder. I checked the website and DVPC is free to XL2 owners club members. Membership is free you just have to register. You can find a link via a image on the right side of the screen to register for the owners club. |
