This message comes 5 minutes after I boot my PC: Warning Event Notification?

Disk free space has dropped below the minimum threshold. Free up space on your hard disk drive by:

1. Backing up your data to a tape backup, ZIP or network drive.

2. Delete unused files. If you are unsure which files are safe to move or delete, contact your Help Desk or consult your software manuals

This is never true, my hard disk is 80Gb and free space is 49Gb. I wonder what this means, and the message sometimes repeats itself several times in a day

Is you computer a dell.. as i have come across this problem on my Dell and was resolved by upgrading OMCI (Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation)... try upgrading or uninstalling this all together if you dont want it.

maybe part of your hard drive is being blocked by a virus or something causing it to seem full. I'd run a good antivirus software... and then contact the maker of your PC if the problem isn't solved

MAY BE IT IS FULL OF VIRUS INFECTION . CLEAR IT.BY AN EXPERT.

Try to check the event viewer log. May be u'll know which application is causing that error and u can reinstall that application.

Type - eventvwr in RUN and then go to application log. Check for any warnings or errors there.

After you run the antivirus run a clean up program.

You have either not installed / uninstalled some software properly or you have deleted some necessary directory.

To solve, Login as Administrator of your PC.
Right-Click on My Computer,
Click on Manage
Click on "+" mark next to Services and Application on left side
Click on Services
On the right side of window, Check for all services marked as "Automatic" and Not Started.
Double-Cick on such items and change startuptype as "Manual" instead of "Automatic"

On next reboot, these items will stop bothering you.
