How come Symantec Can't Fix their "ccApp.exe" Shutdown Error Problem ?

After installing Symantecs Internet Security Suite I have discovered with all their "Expertise" they have an ongoing Problem...
Yes, I have done all the Updates including their Latest and Greatest version Upgrade and still have the Problem....
Yes, I have "Consulted" their "Experts" also...
Yes, I know there are plenty more out there that have the same problem...
It seems that None of the IT Gurus around have no clue either...
I am thinking between the Overly Bloated and Resource Eating combination of NISS and XP that we are rapidly coming to a point of Total Chaos with software problems and conflicts that Cannot be Resolved...
I know, Change my AV software, but, to what? They All have problems.......... : )

I had similar issues with Norton preventing me from sending/receiving email with Thunderbird. After two phone sessions with their support staff and no results, I got a refund. Now I use Grisoft AVG, which is a ***FREE*** download at http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/... or through CNet ( http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F... ). While the free edition is not as robust as the paid version or as feature packed as Norton, it uses fewer resources, updates daily (not weekly or monthly) does a heuristics scan, and so far has not interfered with any of my other programs. It puts a small message at the bottom of emails that they were scanned by AVG, but that is in plain text with no popups.

In my opinion, Symantec is the buggiest of all the Security software out there.
I got it in a software bundle that came with one of my computers. I ended up uninstalling it in the first week. I replaced it with McAfee's, which is only slightly better, but it is free from my ISP, and it has fewer bugs.
