What do you think of my charcoal drawing? |
This is my first time using charcoal on a drawing. I have been drawing for most of my life, but there's certain mediums I tend to shy away from using in that I was never thoroughly trained in their processes. The drawing is very good. However, the lips on the man seem to be a little too pointy. You may think about trying to soften the edges just a bit. You're quite talented and I hope that you'll continue with your art no matter which medium you choose to use. Thank you for sharing. I think the man needs more shading, especially around the nose and eyes to show depth. The child could use some more shading to round out the face, but he/she still looks pretty.
