the story is about a Luis, 17 year old soccer prodigy. he lives in a province in Brazil. he cant play soccer becuase his old man thinks its a waste of time and he should concentrate on his studies. but, a friend convinces Luis to play at a college game...after a series of events, he gets to play at the world cup. there he finds his true love, but a rival team kidnapps her and he has to either find and rescue her or win the cup.
