Can anyone tell me anything about the Essendon Bombers?

I dont understand sports at all. Basically, I'm just wondering if they have done better or worse since 2006.

(Its for an English project, I have to figure out what Steve Irwin, The Crockodile Hunter, would say about them if he were back alive for a day.)

On a side note, if you happen to know about the Rugby team "Brisbane Bronchos" that'd help too.

Essendon are a team in the AFL. They won the first premiership back in1897 and have won another 15 since, the last in 2000, they play there home games at the Telsta Dome in Melbourne, since 2006 they have lost there long time coach, kevin Sheedy (27 years as head coach) and one of the greatest players in the history of the club in James Hird, who retired, they are in a rebuilding stage with a lot of very promising young players coming through, new coach Matthew knights has them playing good football at the moment, they will not make the finals this year but with the current crop of players I'd expect them to finish in the top 8 in the next couple of years.

i barrak for essendon and now that James Hird is gone we have our kids to play for us. Monfries is good, Reimers is good. FANTASTIC WIN AGAINST MELBOURNE!

Well Essendon bombers are pathetic players that dont know the definition of " football" is. And they should just leave or drop out of afl for good.

Steve would have said crikey you shouldn't have got rid of Sheeds (their coach for the last 20 yrs)
