Any ideas on what my project could be on?

Hello I am working on a school project and they are asking me to to develop a risk assessment for a project. I'm just not sure what subject to do it on because there are some many things you can do an risk assessment on. I really want it to be good. Any ideas on what I could do it on? Also if this helps it will have to be something I can; identification (or idenitify) on the risk,the response,exposure analysis and so on. Thanks!

Do your study on marriage and the risks involved in getting married at a young age....say between 17 and 25. Look into the statistics on divorce, bankruptcy after divorce, suicide, mental disorders related to failed marriages...etc...

That's a wide-open topic. What subjects are you interested in? It always helps to do a project in an area that interests you, and risk assessment can apply to almost any topic.

For your school project, it could be on (just off the top of my head) something dealing with drinking and driving (risk versus level of blood alcohol), risk of catching certain diseases from, ahem, risky behaviors, risk assessment dealing with the use of cigarettes or drugs, and so on.

I'd do a risk assessment on a manager doing a risk assessment for checking the baggage of suspected terrorists at airports under the wise supervision of a human rights inspector.
If I was that manager, I'd hit the bottle (I may even hurt my hand), and would suffer acute stress due to the amount of methane in the air (due to the amount of bull mess) that is now involved in actually complicating peoples line of thinking logically.
Everything has risk - years ago we'd just get on with it, and come home as kids possibly with a scabby leg ; Nowadays you do risk assessments on even getting out of bed (one could fall through the floor and end up downstairs covered in plasterboard with a broken leg and be crippled for life) for example.
The response from me would be to use common sense , and expose our meddling governments for putting undue stress (and taxes paying for such job creation) and expose what I would call "The great big buffoon's gold plated pension swindle".

I'm not a fan of idiocity and the stink in our current political climate.

I'm not sure how a risk assessment is conducted, but what about something like the adverse effects of indoor tanning?

What about the risk of tooth decomposition from drinking soda? Get a ceramic tile and leave it in a small container of carbonated soda for 24 hours. Rate the degreneration of the tile.

Pregnancy & childbirth.There's loads of risks involved in that.Preeclampsia,deformed embryo's.There's a risk of your baby suffering from Neural Tube disease through lack of folic acid,etc...Maybe the risks involved through lack of adequate vitamins in pregnancy could be your project.

Do it on a chemistry experiment, then you can identify stuff like what protective wear you should put on, how much time you should be exposed to the chemical etc.
