Project topic: Korea or China?

We are doing a report for our final project, which has a heavy weightage on marks. We are doing gender discrimination in either Korea or China, but are unable to decide on which country.

Korea is more interesting as it has been less researched on, and it also originates from China which will allow us to touch on both countries. However, China has been more well researched on and thus is easier to do.

We have more interest in Korea, but are wondering if we should risk the difficulty (what if it causes us to score less?)

Please advise us on which to do! The best reason will get the best answer.

I would recommed doing your project on Korea. China is a huge country and many (and I mean A LOT) of people have done research on it. In order to receive a good grade, you would have to do more than to learn about the culture and the basics. You would have to learn about all of the about 5,000 years of history, which would be very hard to learn (I don't even know it yet...). More people know about the facts of China versus the facts of Korea. The difficulty of researching up of Korea would not be so hard because there are many books and websites available for you to use for your research. Since the history of Korea also goes back to China, you would still be able to learn a little bit about China in the process. I really hope that this helps persuade your thinking! (You really don't have to do what I say.)

I suggest you do China because it's somewhat obvious that you know very little about Korea because Korea never originated from China. Plus, if you really want to give a report on Korea, it would be much harder because you would need to research much more. China is in the global spotlight right now. China will be the focus of so much in the upcoming years. Do China, it's much easier.
