Will ice candies melt easily even if you put in styrofoam box?

Well, I'm planning on selling ice candies at school for our project but I'm afraid it will melt if I sell it at lunch or something.. So, how many hours does it take for it to melt if put in an ice candy/ styrofoam box (or whatever you call the thing where you put those ice candies) at a normal temperature...?

Any tips to make it last longer.? please help!

specifics are impossible, it depends on the temperature outside the box, how thick the box is, what the temperature was once you put them in the box and closed the lid

you can't put those ice candies strait into a warm styrofoam box and expect them not to melt in a few hrs. The temperature of the air that was trapped in the box with them will start melting them right away.

your best bet:
put a layer of in the bottom of the box at least an hour ahead of time, best in gallon zip-top bags to keep the water that will leak. so the inner-styrofoam and the surrounding air is already very cold. empty the box, put in a new layer of ice, then your candies, then cover with a towel, and another freezer bag of ice.

this way the candies don't gain temperature just cooling down the box to begin with, and with more frozen mass in the box, there is less lost by the candies.
