When school start, is it okay to have a part-time job? |
when you have school, you have homework to do and exam. but is it okay to have a part-time job? i planning to work part-time on friday and full time on saturday and sunday, but my english is very bad so i'm planning to take cram school and my school is known to give a lot of pressure on student because they give projects at the last minute i'm 16 in middle school in Canada, secondary 5 When school starts, you'll need money to have any fun. i guess its ok as long as you have all the time and energy to go to school, work and shop. its all a matter of time management. If not everything is falling into place though, i suggest you prioritize your school. that is your best bet on getting a high paying job in the future thus ensuring more shopping money not only with your friends but with your future family as well. goodluck and happy studying, working and shopping! :) I think maybe you should wait a little longer. At least until your grade in English picks up. I'm all for getting a part-time job while in school. I did it! But if you know that projects can be due last minute and there is alot of pressure, then maybe you should hold off a while. If you really want a job, make sure it doesn't interfere with your school work. it's totally fine to have a part time job during school as long as the job you apply for has flexible hours and is willing to understand that it school comes first Budget your time well and go for the job if you really want money. |
