What is the most realistic business that I could choose to create a business plan for a school project? |
The plan must be presented orally in the form of a business presentaion. The best way to approach your assignment is to (a) choose the business that you are interested in; and (b) make sure you can find a sample business plan for that business Clothing line. There are tons of them and more coming out each day. I used a home-helper plan called "Honey-Do" where one would hire someone to complete the "honey, would you do... " lists. What product or service do you personally know the most about? Restaurant is pretty easy. or really anything you want. I had to write a business plan for a college project with a partner. We chose a restaurant and if you google "restaurant business plan" about 50 million will come up. Some of them of course want you to pay for them, but a lot of them are free. We used that as a template to help us fill in the blanks and know what information we would need and then built our presentation off of that. Trust me I know it looks overwhelming at first, but it really isn't so bad. Something YOU love and know- you don't want to go up there and stand there saying, "well.... um...". There are infinite possibilities, but you must know about it and like it yourself in order to present it enthusiastically and convincingly. If you need hints, check out businesses that deal in the things you like and see what they do. You can use that info to setup your own plan. |
