I need a funny project idea for sociology.PLEASE HELP!?

We have to do any kind of project that has to do w/ Sociology. I was hoping to do one over groupthink(it's when even though ppl know your wrong, they go along w/ you just to fit in). I was planning on having a group of my friends get into an elevator and stare @ the back of it to see what other ppl would do. And also stand as close as possible to people and see how they react (since ppl normally stand as far away from other ppl as possible in elevators).
Can anyone else think of an idea that would be fun???? Please help!!!!!

The elevator thing has more to do with norms than groupthink. Groupthink is more like an idea has been made known and no one criticizes it because they don't want to rock the boat. I think it would be very difficult to construct an experiment with groupthink. You could still do the elevator thing and just change which concept you are studying. Norms are fun to experiment with.

Have volunteers compare belly buttons (innies vs outies) and make one group discriminated against (give the other group treats).

I tried this for my own research. Group influence

You will see that the cars at your left and right followed you without even checking to see if it was green or red.

They get pissed after quickly noticing that you are messing around with em...

Glue a penny in a heavily walked area on the floor (please get permission if you use a mall or such, use rubber cement glue or hot glue too)....see what happens....then try a quarter....you will be surprised!
