They typically work for general contractors and manage construction projects - scheduling of subcontractor work, inspections, budget, billing, interface with government inspectors, interface with the owners/clients, etc. Salary varies greatly with experience and location. Senior managers can earn six-figure salaries.

They go to the sites and make sure all is going well according to the specs of the job. ( the actual construction) They oversee all the workers and make sure the job is running smoothly. Depending on where you live they can be paid average is usually about 28 an hour or so.
