Work - I can't do a thing without making my manager mad with me.? |
So there's this manager I work with, kinda old (late 30's) but still cool to talk with. During the school year weekdays (our slow days), we would always do projects together (work related projects) would always joke around and enjoy each others company. One night, the employees were having a party and he showed up when I was buzzed. I thought it was cool that he showed, but alittle akward. I kept drinking that night and he saw me completely hammered (not sure if he cares or not)... from that night, he's been acting differently around me. He recently found out that I am not liked by many of the co-employees at work, and he has just recently written me up (I desereved the write up)... I told a few people that I got written up by him, and rumors spread that "I wanted to get back at him". Which I did not say at all. He came up to me and asked me about it, and I had no idea what he was talking about at the time. I just feel like I lost complete respect from him and he doesnt really trust me Im not trying to be his friend. But I do work with him, and I just want things they were before. I know its just a job and to just go there, do my work, and get out鈥? But I can鈥檛 really do that with knowing that not only staff not having respect for me, but my managers aswell. I tried talking to him about it that shift when he first said something, but I think that just made matters worse. Just want his respect back and everything to be cool again鈥? But how? Every time I try, it just seems to get worse? U have two choices look for another job and start all over again or stay at your current job and deal with it until they promote you. But either ways the decision is up to you. Good luck |
