How do you measure a companies ability to execute project management? A number of organizations have developed what they call project management maturity models, which attempt to gage how "mature" an organization is in terms of its project management skills. First, YOU have to know what is the methodology of good project management. Then you just ask them on their approach. If their answer matches yours or better yet, you feel that they have a better approach than yours, then you've got what you want. You should put them on the spot with this question though. |
