What factors should a company consider before deciding to use outsourced project management resources? Time Cost and Quality - can they provide the services as and when you want them - will it be good enough - will it be cheaper than providing the service in-house (allowing for staff time and overheads) etc. You will be paying themprofit, but not 'carrying' the service for the times you don't need it - so it is a fine balance. Cost, time and if it will affect the companies competitive advantage. Dude....I work for a company that just now decided to outsource alot of services...and to be honest...if you can afford or have the means to....keep things within your employees. In my opinion...it makes for a stronger company. The world in general needs to do less outsourcing...we'd all be in better shape I think cost |
