IT project manager or business analyst?

I have been working as a system/business analyst for the past 7 years for the same company and I have been increasingly involved with project management activities. I feel that I鈥檓 at point where the only way to improve my career is to change of job. I鈥檓 hesitating between two career paths: getting a business analyst job at a renowned professional services company (Accenture, KPMG, etc.) or obtaining a PMP certification to work as IT project manager for a lesser known company. Would the salaries be comparable? Which one do you feel would provide the greatest long term opportunities?
