Consulting Company not paying sending my Pay Check?

Hello Friends,

I am a software engineer During first week of march I worked on a short term project for a consulting company called Terra Firma Consulting (www.tfconsulting.com). The project was in South Carolina and they paid for my air ticket, hotel etc., However, after completing the project I have submitted my time sheet and other details and so far they are not responding to my emails or voice mails. When ever I call their HR, all they say is that they wills send my check in couple of days. This has been going on for almost 6-7 weeks. Is there any department in the government that can help me. Any suggestion or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Take your documentation that proves the contract / business relationship with the aforementioned company and file grievance / complaint / with the appropriate labor commission in Sount Carolina. That is were the injustice occurred?

i have run into this several times with customers for my bussiness. small claims court may be your only choice. possibly contact the person who authorized the contract and explain the situation and ask for their help in the matter.

send a certified letter - receipt requested - and add a 2% late fee for your services - and then take them to court.
