Will temping consulting projects land me a permanent job w/ a customer?

For the past year, I've been selective with assignments to give me an insight of what works for me. I've been working as a project team member for consultant projects. Will I ever be perm if I stay till the end or should I plan on leaving before the end?

You are hoping for something that doesn't exist. There is no such thing as a "permanent" job. You are better off to continuing with the consulting. Most of the time you can call the shots and they have to accommodate you.
