I need help. for a school project i downloaded a free 60 day trial of microsoft office 2007...?

a girl sent an attachment to me that was from m.o. 2007 and i had the old version so i need the free trial to open it. i used up all the 25 times that i could without having to enter a product key yet now it is there with lmited features (aka NOTHING). I cant even type. please someone help me on how to get my old microsoft office back. PLEASE

when you downloaded the 60 day trial it should have given you a product code that would unlock it for the 60 days. Check to see if you got any emails from Microsoft about it.

Id you want to switch back to Office 2003, uninstall 2007 then reinstall 2003. If down the road you end up with the issue of someone using 2007 there's another way to share files without you having Office 2007. The person with Office 2007 can save the file in a format your Office 2003 can read. When she saves it, have her click Save As and then from a drop down menu she can choose to save it in Office 97-2003 format. Then when she sends you that file you can open it with your verion of Office.

Well you could fully uninstall office 2007, reboot, reinstall your old or other version of office (the fully functional version)... But if you try to reinstall office 2007 there will probably be some kind of remnant in your registry (sorry I don't know where or I would tell you) that will still remember that you ran out of free trial time... So it won't work. But if you reinstall your old version, fully functioning office it should work just fine...

Your friend could have saved her 2007 document as a 2003 document with File, Save As.

Have you tried System Restore? If you are lucky it will restore your OS to the date before you downloaded MO2007. It's worth a try. Remember, if you are able to do this, you have to reinstall any updates or software you installed since you began using 2007.
