Microsoft Project Server 2003 or Project Server 2007?

Our organization recently bought EPM 2007 because we had a perfect stint with Project Server 2003 so we were just expecting better and it actually turned out to be but only till a certain time....
After sometime I started getting problems in saving, publishing and all enterprise features which I later came to know that those were because my tasks were getting stuck in Queue which came with the new version (Because of inclusion of SOAP based architecture). I'm unable to get status reports, unable to save or publish. The only way is to clean the Queue and try again but that is alright if only I'm involved but we have 200 guys connected with Project Server. Can somebody suggest me a quickfix for this or will it be wise to roll it back to Project Server 2003?

I tried with Microsoft and they said that Queue problem is there but the only option is to keep on monitoring Queue and flush it every now and then.

for something like this at the enterprise level i would demand some answers from microsoft directly.. you may get some tips here but this is likely something ms is aware of.
