I need Microsoft Works Word Processor

I installed Windows Vista and it didn't come with Microsoft works word processor. I need to know where I can download it for free. I need it or else school projects will kill me Xl

The entire Microsoft Works, including the word processor, (which is NOT to be confused with Microsoft Word), is available in the stores for about $40.00. It's not as full-featured as MS Word, but for the price, it's not bad.

Just be sure, if you're to turn in electronic copies rather than paper, that your instructors can and will accept its file format. (It also does MS Word .doc format, but not many know that.)

why not just use Microsoft office?
its better than Microsoft works word processor
plus as a student we are using Office 2000, 2003 and 2007.
so my best bet is to use get Office.
where to get it?
usually you can get it at any store that sells office.
i believe that there is a 60 or 90 day free trail with windows Vista

Works is not available for free.

Consider OpenOffice.org instead ( http://www.openoffice.org/ ).

If you pick RTF for the file format when you save documents, you will have files that Works can open.
