A q for ppl who make videos on youtube

ok so i made a taylor swift video and i went on youtube and did all the stuff and when i put the video in it said ... this fie a Microsoft MoveMaker project file (.MSWMM). Please return to your project and export your movie in .WMV format. Click Ok to continue uploading. ok so backspaced .MSWMM and Put In .WVM... when it uploaded it said it failed it says its unavailable when i click on it ...can someone please help me ..if you have AIM ir yahoo messanger that would be great 2 soo we can communicate better ..PLEASE HELP

I'm guessing you went to File> Save as... DON'T DO THAT! You will only get a MSWMM file, which isn't a movie file, but the WMM Project file.

Instead, go to the task bar on the left and under the heading Finish Movie, choose save to computer. From there just choose whatever format you need.

Instead of saving your project as, go to the left side of movie maker where it says 'Finish Movie.' Click 'Save to my computer.' Hope I helpd! You can record your video on your moviemaker screen- save it, and then download it to your youtube account.

i had this problem & i found another question like this and i found out how to do it. if you have vista, open your movie maker project and go to file--publish movie. then choose the option that says 'this computer- best for playback on your computer' this will change the format so you can upload it. hope i helped! :]]

uhmm. i used movie maker too.. and all you have to do is under finish movie you have to save it and then upload it.. hope that helps!! ..P.S check out my videos!! AshleeColling

I think you need to export it as a different file like maybe QuickTime Player

you cannot just rename it, you need to save it a the specified (correct) filetype

Ensure the file format is correct before uploading to youtube...

Using windows movie maker -- you have to save it into the proper file format, that is "wmv" file (use the "save movie file" on the menu at the top left) before upload..

The WMV file will be smaller in size but still quite good quality.. so uploading it will be faster.

--for best editing....

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

It works very well....just google search for "zillatube"
