Youtube Video Windows Movie Maker HELP! I NEED YOU! I LOVE YOU NERDS, HELP ME AND I SHALL NOT BEAT YOU UP!

Okay, youtube question.....

When I try to upload a video from windows movie maker this is what keeps appering when I press upload.... "This file is a Microsoft MovieMaker project file. (.MSWMM) Please return to your project and export you movie in .WMV format. Click Ok to continue uploading."

SO HOW IN THE H*LL do i get a video on there?!?!?

Please help me and you will be rewarded handsomely.

ok 4 Steps

Step 1: Go Into Your Project and Click File>Publish Movie
Step 2: Pick The Location (desktop) and Save The Movie *note* Make Shure You Change The Format Type to .wmv in the Save Menu
Step 3: Go You Youtube Sighn In!

Step 4: (hidden Source) Trick! Go To Upload, Now Go Down To The Right And Look For "Multi Video Uploader" and Click It, Follow The Links To Dowload The Youtube Installer, Fill In The Blanks And Click Upload, I Like This Technique better because it is more efficient!

Step 5: You've Got A Kick But Video!

Also Note:
Windows Movie Maker File (in the end will be .avi) Takes Around 10-30 minutes to Publish

Uploading To Youtube: Takes Around 20-45 minutes to upload it
*based on an average 56k modem speed*

Ensure the file format is correct before uploading to youtube...

Using windows movie maker -- you have to save it into the proper file format, that is "wmv" file (use the "save movie file" on the menu at the top left) before upload..

The WMV file will be smaller in size but still quite good quality.. so uploading it will be faster.

--for best editing....

use windows movie maker (included in your windows machine)... it can help you make beautiful slideshow or video clip(e.g. mixing your songs with pictures/video/etc).... then save it as video file such as wmv file format... finally upload.

or .. Just get those clips you want , save & convert them, and then mix/match with pix/sound/etc using windows movie maker to create new masterpieces....

this will help you.... Use 'zillatube'. This is the easiest (and also the fastest) way.

Zillatube produces mpg/mp3 formats from youtube that are compatible with windows movie maker(or media player), and more.

It is very easy to download and convert videos. Then edit those converted mp3/mpg videos with windows movie maker... save your file as wmv and then upload.

It works very well....just google search for "zillatube"

You need to process the video into a format that can be used on the web - only the movie maker can use a .MSWMM file.

Open your video in Windows Movie Maker and perform step 3 - Finish Movie. Use the "Save to my computer option." This is a wizard that will create a video that you can use in other places.

MSWMM is the project file, simply clicking save only saves your project. To finish your movie for publication you need to save it as a movie file, go to File, Save movie file, and follow the prompts it will save as a wmv (windows media video) Have fun now.

like the error message says you need to save it as a movie so open the file back up in movie maker and go to file then save movie file. This wizard will then allow you to save the file as the correct format for upload to youtube.

In MovieMaker, click the feature that says "Publish movie." After that a loading screen will appear. Simply wait and then upload that vid to YouTube.
