Interstate compact probation transfer's from Texas to california?

I would like to know if anyone has info regarding transfer of probation from texas to california (felony probation) I have done 5-years and have 3 to go. How long does it typically take for a non-expedited request to be accepted by california??

California has 45 days to investigate and respond to a transfer request... Add on some time for the paperwork to get from the local California probation officer to the California Interstate Compact office in Sacramento to the Texas Interstate Compact office in Austin to your local Texas PO, I would say that 2 months is the longest you should have to wait... If you're waiting any longer than that, the Texas Interstate Compact office should be contacting the California Interstate Compact office to remind them that they are violating Compact rules...

In regards to the other question you asked in your e-mail, once you transfer to California, you will be bound by Texas AND California rules, so if you want to be able to use that particular form of medication, I'd suggest getting the Texas Court's permission before you leave... Your attorney can file a motion with the Court, asking the judge to allow you to use it...
