Can common warts be transmitted to the anus, i.e. during solo masturbation?

I was distressed to find what I believe to be a common wart at the entrance to my anus. I also noticed that I had a few on the fingers of my right hand, which I sometimes use in my anus during masturbation. Since I haven't had intercourse with anyone and that is the only "sexual activity" in the area in several months, is it safe to assume that I have spread a "common wart" to my anus and that I haven't contracted genital warts (which to my knowledge is incureable)?

I have had 100% success earlier in life with OTC saliclyic acid solutions for removing warts before (hands/feet). I am in the process of removing the warts on my hand with the same method but fear [surely with good reason] that that method wouldn't work for my "more sensitive" problem.

Hi Eric look yes u can spread warts this way but as much as u feel embarrassed to talk with a Doctor don't be, they are well versed in treatment like this.
I also wonder what ur describing is in fact a haemorrhoid it might well be..
