How to add bubble or other graphic in a simple home made video?

Many times i saw that in the video they add thinking bubble or a picture of bulb while the video is running. Is there any program to do that or i have to use the blue/green screen technique.

Please share any knowledge about this.. I am all itchy with this curiosity... heh

yeah bubble like in the comic book.

hmm i dont think overlaping pictures can do anything to a video.

I'm not sure my self but I think you can overlap a picture. Or you can add a little animation at the part you want to add?
