1 Corinthians 15:1-4 says, 鈥淢oreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.鈥?br> In a nutshell, that is the belief of Christianity. Christianity is unique among all other faiths, because Christianity is more about a relationship, rather than religious practice. Instead of adhering to a list of 鈥渄os and don鈥檛s,鈥?the goal of a Christian is to cultivate a close walk with God the Father. That relationship is made possible because of the work of Jesus Christ, and the ministry in the life of the Christian by the Holy Spirit.

I believe this. There is this person somewhere I choose to call him God only because that it was what I was taught to call him and I can't think of a better name. I don't call somewhere heaven I just call it the other side. So any how. "God" he is like your cool Grandpa you can talk to him like I am talking to you. He doesn't really talk back to you or anything like that but as you are talking you are also thinking and in thinking you come to the answers that you are looking for. And like the cool Grandpa, he doesn't judge me. He may not always like what I am doing and he may not always approve of what I am doing but he never tells me not to do it. He lets me make my own mistakes so that I can learn from them and grow as a person. And when everything is said and done and it is my turn to go to the other side he will welcome me with open arms and ask me how did I like the ride. To me that is what "God" is about.

Jesus said if we love Him to keep His commandments. The most important commandment is to love God. How can we love someone we do not know? How can we know Him except the Holy Spirit reveal Him to us? How can The Holy Spirit reveal Him to us if we cannot tell the difference between the unholy and Holy spirits? Ask to experience unconditional love, once you do, you will not settle for less again.

That is too long an answer. I believe in the Bible and what it says. I do not believe we should make things up that we like ourselves. Or distort the Bible and tell others not to do as it says.

BUT NOW YOU AND ME LIVE THROUGH GRACE THAT GOD HAS BESTOWED ON US NOT BECAUSE WE DISERVE IT BUT BY GODS MERCY THROUGH HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS CHRISTS DEATH AND RESSURECTION THAT HE BOUGHT US BACK TO GOD FROM THE DEVIL THROUGHT A PERFECT SACRIFICE ON THE CROSS. NOT BY FLESH THAT ANY MAN CAN BOUST BUT BY THE SPIRIT INWHICH HE WAS LED 33 YEARS AND 6 MONTHS . SO WE MY FRIEND MUST LIVE BY THE SPIRIT TO UNDERSTAND OUR PURPOSE AND TO KNOW OUR HEAVENLY FATHER. READ ROMANS CH.7 PAUL GIVES US THE ANSWER ON HOW TO ACCOMPLISH THAT ULTIMATE WALK IN SPIRIT.

I spent 32 years as a student of EL, with some understanding of Canaanite mythology you will figure where in the cosmology you might understand how "God" is related. I asked for the wisdom of Solomon, the wisdom of God. I saw him, He said I would be released in 32 years (long story) . Since, I have been aware of and/or seen Thor and Odin, Morrigan, Kephra, Sopdet, Ganapati, Ochoosi, Danballah, those that I can name.
Some are ancestors, some are formulations of collective consciousness that have manifested. Some are empowered by nature, some by their followers, some by nature alone. Some have done their own spiritual growth to be transcendent, immanent or to some function.
Spiritual devotion to God, connects you to Him. Your spirit, can connect you to God and Him/Her/.. to you. The Holy Spirit is a Spirit process that connects you to God, and takes over your spiritual process, and how it guides you and keeps you connected with God. Somewhere in the new testament says if you blaspheme/offend the Holy Spirit thats it your done. Jesus/God can forgive you but not the Holy Spirit.
It is like a Hindu Shaktiput, a conference of spiritual power or attunement to an individual.
Your relationship to God(your choice or choices) is up to you.
Like a friendship, the best friends are the ones that you are devoted to and spend the most time to cultivate.

My knowledge of God comes from His Son Jesus Christ.

Because of Jesus we call God our Father.

Sin kept us separated from God, but Jesus died for our sins and we are reconciled with God.
