How to deal with life's BS?

I'm going to my second year of my Industrial design degree at Arizona State. Simply put, I'm not sure I really want to go back. The school does not care about student learning or teaching the skills necessary for the field. The Level of BS at that school has gotten me to the point where I now have some serious anger management problems. I honestly would love to chew the department head's head off with a flurry of cursing. The course work and what the field demands are two very different things. I gained 10 pounds, I've given up my social life ( I literally can count on 1 hand how many friends I have now because of the stress and time involved), my faith ( I simply had no time to do it) And simply put, I've given up my sanity. I have no idea what to do and where my life's heading. The professors are not supportive, do not teach squat, and are never willing to give out knowledge. I feel like I'm in a spot I can't dig myself out of.

See a psychologist ASAP!

I recently finished my graduate degree and I totally agree with you about the BS and the school not caring. I basically am paying the school for a piece of paper... but that piece of paper will get me in the door at a place where I can start my career and real learning process. College gives you a very broad knowledge base, and then it is up to you to learn about your career. Try and keep in mind that this is another hoop you have to jump through in order to get where you want to be in life. When you finish with your degree, you'll be happy and can start learning in the real world... college is more of a fantasy land.
