I want to set-up a quick and easy e-commerce web site what direction should I go?

Most people try it first on eBay to see if it can work. You sound like you are past that stage. Contact dodaddy.com and get the site up ( i don't work for them). Are you sure you don't want to do Visa or AMEX instead of pay pal. everyone has that in their wallet.
If you get cash from a venture capitalist they will demand 51% ownership of your business. I worry that when you say "quick and easy" that you mean "without money".
I opened my own business in 2001. I'm still going.
