Where can I find someone to help me with my website design?

I want to move away from places like ebay, and such, and start to sell my items on my own ecommerce site. Any suggestions on where I can find someone to help, or websites that can help? I don't have much extra funds, so I need to keep it on the lower priced side. Thanks!

You can post on craigslist and get good responses, always ask for portfolio to see what they have done already.

If you want a site like that i would find a truested freelancer who can do it for you it can be very cheap and easy to do if they know what they are doing...once you have your design you can then go on and find a hosting company that will also promote your website and direct traffic to it. Freelancers bid very low on projects and you can get it done very cheap and the outcome is very good.

What type of products are you trying to sell. If the products are narrowed to a specific niche you will get better results. A website is a great tool for positioning. If the tool (website) is used correctly you will attract people seeking what you have to offer, producing greater results then ebay. I would recommend that you continue with ebay while you build your site. It takes a bit of time to generate consistent traffic.
