Notepad ++?

Has anyone used Notepad++ as an editor to build an ecommerce website? If so, tell me your experiences. Thanks!

I actually use Notepad++ for all my web designing because it is very helpful if I make a mistake or miss a closing tag or whatever... I definitely recommend using it if you're like me and like to write raw code instead of using design programs.

I use Notepad++ for small projects, but not to develop websites...

I'd rather use Dreamweaver. Being able to use one click to upload to my testing server is wonderful... and the auto closing of tags and code suggestions are very helpful.

Notepad++ is better for de-bugging. Makes it very easy to see where you screwed up.

i use it all the time. i love it. the only thing i don't like is it opens up additional file in another tab instead of another window. i have several monitors so i prefer to be able to open up several windows instead. other than that, it's great! i love the plugins too.

I've used it for small sites and it works great. It works well for indenting. There is another that is better, I'll get the name and email it to you. There is also VI for windows. It's free as well. But notepad ++ is great.

Notepad++ is a great tool when you're really into coding stuff, I use notepad++ on windos and vi whenever im on my linux OS or at work. Ofcourse, using notepad++ is a pain when you're into designing layouts. :)

Not an e-commerce site but some other websites. It's not bad, but it basically just does colouring of tags.
