What is the dumbest instruction/warning label you have seen? |
I am getting ready to start a small ebusiness, and I was thinking about the warning labels found on products..such as on candles "Do not burn near anything flammable.", or like the ones on hairdryers .."Do not use in bathtub?" Is it just me or is most of it commonsense...it makes you wonder though...did someone actually do what some of these labels warn against? How about on the bottom of food containers that say keep this container upright? How ridiculous is that? If I'm reading it guess what...I already messed up! A commercial about selling a car...you got a free PC....CAR NOT INCLUDED...lol I saw a sign a Niagra falls Right under the falls that said No Smoking. That is so stupid you couldnt even smoke if you tried. On a bottle of pills which are to help me sleep it says "May cause drowiness". Well, I'd sure hope so! The funniest thing I heard was this list of questions they hand to visitors to America aboard airplanes. One of the questions is: have you ever, or are you actually planning to commit a crime/abduct a child? etc. Caution - Hot, on a cup of "hot" coffee. On the barrel of a curling iron a warning that it gets hot and will burn you. Kinda' falls in the realm of well DUH! I sure hope so because that is what I bought it for. |
