Do you think the career of consultancy concerning the oracle e-business suite is not suitable for women?? |
I have studied the manufacturing track of the oracle e-business suite, but according to the interviews I went to, employers are mainly seeking to employ just men as consultants!! I am a female and have been working with Oracle since 1985. I am currently working for a manufacturing facility that has about a 50% ratio of women in the IT department, and slightly less in the functional areas. That's strange to hear. Considering that the field of consultancy is saturated with males, I would imagine that they would welcome female applicants. I am quite familiar with Oracle and have not found any bias in working with them. However, there are very few females in the field. |
