Anyone have any ideas on how to promote my new e-business???

I have two websites and I am seeling Avon and L'bel Makeup plus helping my friend sell her Gold Canyon Candles.. Anyone have any Idea on how to get it out there? I have it on search engines, but I was wondering if anyone else has any better suggestions?

Thanks for the answers so far and not being mean about it. I have made over $400 ( not alot) but enough, I offer 10% discount for using my webpage, 15% if somone refers a client to me, and 10% off the item of the month. PLus I do all the shipping, because avon charges way too much!
I am using google adsense, adfish, and I built my site on godaddy...
So I am just wondering how to get more people aware of my sites...Thanks everyone

Bringing these products online is competing against tens of thousands of others selling the same thing. If you do not have a large budget you are not going to be able to get enough traffic to move product.

In order to stand out and get a few sales in to pay for better advertising you should offer a large discount on the products. Most affiliates are selling the products at full price. Obviously you are making a commission on all products sold, so offer some of your earnings back as a rebate to the customer.

If avon shoppers know they can by the same products from you for 10% less you'll be able to get new customers.

Most search engines will not accept your first website address. That is anything after the "/".

You have to keep marketing yourself, maybe pass out flyers and advertise in your local paper/phone book. Post information on area bulletin boards and such.
