Depends what your line of work is. If you are creative, you should try creating a site in cafepress.com so people can buy your designs in the form of t-shirts, mugs, etc.
If you are a sales person, then sell other peoples merchandise, real estate, etcetera.
I guess the best online business is the one you really like and understand, so you can know what is profitable.
