How do I access the website for the business I have recently purchased.?

I have recently purchased a small business which came with it's own website. After numerous conversations with the old owner I am still no closer to accessing the website. I have received a letter from the old owner stating that the website was sold with the business. What do I have to do to allow me to access the site and change the material ?????

why don't you try searcing the buisness name on yahoo or google, maybe the online phonebook??
