Okay starting a small business and don't know how to create a website and getting domain?

Need some help just basic info on what/where to go to get a new website started. Sorry if I'm dumb, just getting started...thanks

A great place to start is Microsoft Office Live Small Business. Office Live is a free service that has an easy to use online web designer tool with templates which allows you to know how to do HTML/CSS coding. If you already have the text and pics that you need for your business website, and you know what kind of style you would like to have for it, then go to Wix.com and start building your website - for free.
I designed a website from scratch with it, but you can also pick a business template and customize it to your heart鈥檚 content.

You use a pretty simple drag & drop editor to create your site 鈥?so the only thing you will need to pay for is your domain name which you can buy anywhere for about $10.

But make sure that you first study your competitor鈥檚 websites. Learn what works there and what not.

Believe me 鈥?in the long run 鈥?a short research will save you more time.

Yahoo also has a place you can search for domain names and purchase them. It should be on their main page under the business link. You should be able to search for your domain name, and it'll tell you whether or not it's taken and how much it costs to purchase it.

You can set up a website through www.myabcspace.com in under 15 minutes. It's incredibly easy and simple; my dad was able to set one up for his small business and he's really happy.

Suggest you look at 1and1 for hosting. very inexpensive and they have some do-it-yourself tools available. There are others
